Guest Speaker Joane Peterson
Her brother is currently in Afghanistan and has been there for about a year now. He and his group go from village to village to see what people need. They go to the schools and see what they need in the way of supplies especially the girls. What she asked us for as a group was if we wanted to do donation bins in each of the halls for notebooks, pens etc. Whatever we would be willing to donate. She asked that things not be religious or have graphics that could be questionable because then the children may not receive them. Donations can be dropped off in the multicultural studies office in 3rd Floor MacLean.
