In May, 2020, in the midst of the COVID-19 Pandemic, I graduated from Bismarck High School. There, I participated in choir, orchestra, volleyball, theatre, and art, which also taking heavy academic loads, including six A.P. courses.
In the Fall of 2020, I started in the Animation Program at Minnesota State University Moorhead. Here I received the Scholar's Apprentice Scholarship, an award that has pushed me to do extra work outside of classes alongside an advisor to further my learning.
After two years in the Animation program at MSUM, while also earning minors in Graphic and Interactive Design and Film Production, I had the opportunity to intern at Agency MABU, a marketing and advertising organization in Bismarck, ND. Here I practiced in Blender, Premiere, Audition, and learned the ins and outs of working at a small business.
The semester after founding Animation Club at MSUM, I traveled over 4,000 miles from home to spend 4 months studying at the University of Lincoln, England. While taking animation classes there, I made many international friends, played on the volleyball society team, and traveled across Europe.
