Here we will exhibit a variety of different animation projects upon their completion!
Check back soon to see what we have accomplished!
"Gary Tells a Dad Joke."
"Gary Tells a Dad Joke" is the heartfelt story of a man on an epic quest to find comedy gold. The viewer is taken on a wild ride as we meet Gary and the Bartender in the local watering hole. The story only gets better as Gary proceeds to remind the Bartender of this perfectly timed comedic moment accompanied by Gary's then wife-to-be, Rose.
"★★★★☆" - NY Times
"Excitement and laughter the whole way through!" - Wall Street Journal
"A heaping pile of wonderment and aptitude. Cinema Gold!" - The Onion
"Gary Tells a Dad Joke" was created by Miranda Moser, Zach Thompson and Danny Tusa with the express purpose of delivering the viewer to a kick butt punchline. Our goals for the story were to provide stunning vector visuals that almost seamlessly transition between different animation reels. Our commitment to you, the viewer, was to exercise top notch animation practices such as superior walking techniques, hidden objects for smooth transitions, mouth and eye movements, and even steady zooming. The timeline of the project was simple. We started by developing the graphics used such as the scenery and the background. Then we fished out audio tracks for the sound effects. Following that, character rigging took place to animate and then the timeline for the animation took place. The most challenging part of the animation, by far, was the walk cycle that Gary performs as he walks into the bar. The project as a whole took around 20+ hours to complete!
"Banjo-Kazooie: Trials Transformed"
Banjo-Kazooie: Trials Transformed is the final project production that Danny Tusa is deciding to undertake for his senior thesis through MSUM. The project focuses on the creation of levels of his own design and implementation into the 1998 classic world of Banjo-Kazooie through the use of some online programs and many, many modeling and texturing applications. This video is a teaser trailer for what is to come, which will include progress videos and a full fledged trailer.
