unity

Unity

This website has unity by using consistent coloring across the whole site. The use of cool colors with the hint of warm colors such as purples, blues, and greens leading into pinks and yellows as the light source. When reviewing the website it evokes a mood of peaceful environment with mysterious haze coming from the background. This may not be shapes or layouts being repeated but as stated before is the use of color. Along with the consistent elements of the haze, light source, and trees. Among Trees Game Website

gradation

Spotify

Gradation

Spotify uses gradation for a major of its hero images even though they change ever so often. For this example, you see shapes, but they are contrasting with the yellow and pink gradations. They also use this principle across multiple hero images and ads they use for the website/app. When using gradation adds interest to their designs outside of just using plain images. How it creates interest is by removing the normal coloring and replacing it with the gradients of two colors meshing. Along with mimicking gradients with shapes in the background that gives a sense of movement. Spotify Website

Movement

How I see this movement in the background image with blurred light indicating moving cars. Also, the blue car is breaking a wall where it could be part of the background image but is sitting in the foreground. Also, with how the car is angled where it could be driving right out of the background image. Then your eyes drift the text advertising what the car is with some statements. Kia Website
